Verbena bonariensis

This tall South American heirloom has rough-textured and branching dark green stems that grow up to 5 feet tall. The tight flower clusters on the tops are light purple. Blooms in later summer right through to frost. Attracts beneficial insects. Ideal for mass planting. Surface sow tiny seeds, indoors in early spring, barely covered. Will self sow once established. Hardy to -10 C.
