Apium Graveolens var. Secalinum

This very rare leafy herb resembles a flavour cross between parsley and celery, hence the name. Originates in 18th century Europe. When young, the leaves are similar to the leaf of our Italian parsley and mild in flavour. As it ages, the zest and fire increases, as does a toothy leaf shape. If you love arugula, this plant should grace your salad creations. Start indoor in early spring.
