Plantago coronopus

This looks a lot like grass but don’t weed it out! It’s a nutty tasting Italian succulent that grows great in winter. We overwinter it outdoors and under cold frames and add to our winter salad mix. Seed spring through fall. Seed in rows and harvest with scissors 2-5cm from the ground to allow greens to grow back. 50 days.
