Stately garden favourite, to 6 feet, with clusters of tubular-shaped blooms. Grown commercially for the heart medication, Digitalis. All parts of the plant are toxic if consumed. Biennial.

Sowing depth: For tiny seed cover very lightly, otherwise sow no deeper than 2-4 times the seed diameter. Direct seed to garden, late spring. Cool start flats, early spring.
