Viola cornuta

A beautiful heirloom flower that looks like a miniature pansy. A striking combination of purple, yellow and white that pops out of your garden in early spring. Direct-seed Apr.-July, 6mm deep. The seeds will self sow and come up season after season, but are easy to rake in or pull out so there is no risk of taking over the whole garden. Flowers are edible and look great on top of salads. 12-14 days to germination. Annual.
