Tomato Aunt Ruby's German Green - Ontario Seed Company

Solanum lycopersicum

A beefsteak type tomato plant producing large fruit with a delicious sweet spicy flavour. Fruit are light green when ripe with some yellow and pink blushing on the underside. Indeterminate growth pattern.

Location - Full Sun Emergence - 10 to 14 days
Difficulty - Easy Lifecycle - Perennial
Approx. 30 seeds per packet Frost intolerant heirloom crop

How to Grow:

Start indoors in a soil-less medium 6-8 weeks before last frost. Germinate at 21-24°C (70-75°F). Transplant seedlings to their own containers once they reach 5cm (2in) height and keep at 16-21°C (60-70°F). After hardening off, transplant to well-drained organic soil 60-90cm (24-36in) apart. Keep well watered, applying the water directly to the soil rather than showering down over the plants. Rotate the crop location in the garden every year, and wait 3 years before using the same patch again.
