How to Grow
Sunny columns of bright golden yellow flowers, easy to grow in full sun to partial shade. Valued for their ability to flourish in sandy, nutrient-poor soils, and cooler summers. Has a strong tendency to self-seed. Start 4-6 weeks early indoors or direct garden sow mid-to-late May. Soak seed for a few hours before sowing or scarify with a file or sandpaper to allow moisture to penetrate their hard seedcoat.
