Looks like a miniature cabbage with the colour of kale. Stunning mix of wavy-leaved red and white types. Except considerable variation in colour and leaf forms. Perfect for the fall and early winter garden. Try inter-planting with garden mums.
How to Grow
Seed can be started indoors in a soil-less mix 6 weeks early. Sow 12mm (1/2") deep and keep the temperature around 20C (70F). Grow-on under lights at 14C (58F) until transplanting outside in mid to late May. Direct seed outdoors in mid-May to mid-June then thin seedlings to 60cm (2') apart when the plants reach 5cm (2") in height.
