How to Grow
It is preferable to direct seed cosmos in the garden although one can start them inside if desired 4 weeks before planting them out. Choose a sunny site with well drained soil and sow the seeds 3-6mm (1-8-1/4") deep in mid to late May. Thin to 30-40cm (12-16") apart when the seedlings are 5-8cm (2-3") tall.
