Growing Instructions:
Sow direct in garden mid-May at a 3mm (1/8in) depth, then thin seedlings to 40cm (16in) apart later in the season. For indoor sowing, sow in mid March in a soil-less mixture no more than 3mm (1/8in) deep. then chill at 4-7°C (40-45°F) for 5-10 days. Grow at 21°C (70°F) for the 8-14 day germination period. Transplant outside after the danger of frost has passed, spacing the plants 40cm (16in) apart. Cleome prefers full sun and is tolerant of poor soil.
