If you have a short growing season and love the taste of home grown cauliflower, Snow Crown is the variety for you. Big 900 g (2 lb.) heads up to 20 cm (8") across form within good wrapper leaves. This cauliflower holds very well in the garden and in longer season areas is perfect for spring and fall crops. Mildew resistant.
How to Grow
Fertilize lightly & frequently, never let the plants lack for water. Seed can be sown directly in the garden in late spring. We suggest starting seed indoors 5 weeks before transplanting in late April/early May. When the heads start to form, gather the outer leaves and tie them over the "curd" to prevent colouring by sunlight.
