  • Robust flavor
  • Part Sun/Part Shade
  • 10 to 28 days to germination
  • 75 days to maturity
  • Zone 3

Single Hardy Italian is a flat-leaf variety of parsley. It has a stronger flavor than regular parsley and is a very popular addition to many dishes. For fresh parsley year round, try growing in an indoor herb garden. This biennial herb is hardy to zone 3.

1.5g. (Approx. 900-950 seeds)

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak seeds overnight in warm water. Start indoors in a sunny location 6 weeks before planting outdoors. Or, sow in the garden in rich, moist, deep soil in sun or partial shade as early as ground can be worked.

Planting Depth: 6 mm (1/4")

Planting Spacing: 15 cm (6")

Row Spacing: 30 cm (12")

SUGGESTIONS

To dry, place in the shade, then complete drying in an oven. Crush the leaves and store in an air-tight container.

Preparation Ideas: This type of parsley is best used for cooking as it withstands heat and retains its flavor better than the curly parsley.
