Anethum graveolens

This easy to grow annual herb has an ancient history with many culinary uses. If growing for fresh herbs, grow small plantings in quick succession and harvest promptly before they set seed. Otherwise allow the seed heads to mature for pickling, or allow them to dry for cooking.
