Unbeatable for baby carrots
Fast to mature, this is a top class variety for uniform, cylindrical baby carrots with sweet flavour (top in our taste tests), good colour and texture over a long season. Perfect for growing in containers or small gardens.
Easily sown direct in the garden. Sow little and often for a continuous crop.
Approx. 800 Seeds
Outdoors: sow thinly, January-July, where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Allow 30cm (1') between rows. Alternatively, sow thinly, directly into fertile compost in 25cm (10") pots with drainage holes. Early sowings may benefit cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly, allowing remainder to grow on. In pots, harvest when roots are approx. 10cm (4") long. Water well until plants are established. Harvest: April-October.
Little space - no problem: Specially selected to grow in containers or small garden spaces, so good crops of tasty, nutritious vegetables can be harvested from your patio, balcony or courtyard.
