Sun Requirements: Full sun to part shade
Soil Preference: Rich, light, moist, well drained soil
When to Plant: Sow seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last Spring frost OR direct seed outdoors in Fall OR in early Spring.
Stratification: Cold stratification will significantly improve germination. Chill seeds for 3 weeks at 2-4°C before sowing.
Uses: All parts of Angelica are edible. Angelica has medicinal properties, is a beautiful cut flower in bouquets, and attracts beneficial insects and pollinators.
