Lettuce Bronze Mignonette International - Aimers Seeds

Lactuca sativa

Variety originated in USA

Indulge in a masterpiece of flavour and colour with the Bronze Mignonette Lettuce. This loose-leaf butterhead type is a testament to refined quality, producing large, open heads up to 450 g. Each frilled green leaf is kissed with a brilliant bronze hue, leading to a succulent, cream-coloured heart. Exceptionally slow to bolt, this variety offers a consistently crisp and captivating texture, making it an exquisite and colourful addition to any gourmet salad.

What you need to know to Plant & Grow:

Sowing: Sow seeds in a sunny site in successive crops every 2 weeks from April to August, as long as both the soil and weather are cool. Plant at a depth of 3 mm, with seeds spaced 12.5 mm apart.

Planting: Thin to 30 cm between plants, with rows 45 cm apart, to allow for full head development.

Care: For a truly luxurious harvest, work plenty of compost into the soil, as this lettuce thrives in an organic, well-draining, and fertile medium. Keep the soil evenly watered throughout its growth.

Harvesting: For the most sublime flavour, harvest your lettuce early in the morning when the leaves are at their crispest.

Germination: Matures in 55 days.
