Iris germanica - Skyfire

A striking tall‑bearded iris that lights up the garden with deeply saturated, fiery orange blooms featuring golden‑tangerine beards. Each flower showcases richly ruffled petals on strong, robust stalks reaching approximately 85–90 cm (33–36 in) tall, and often bears multiple buds on branching stems for an impressive floral display. The blooms emit a soft, pleasant fragrance that draws bees in spring. Thriving in full sun and well‑drained soil, Skyfire is hardy in Zones 3–9, deer- and rabbit-resistant, drought-tolerant once established, and often produces a rebloom in early fall in warmer climates.
