Salvia Forskaohlei

This extremely rare variety is our favourite farm flower. Received from a rare plant collector from Germany, 10 years ago, it is rarely seen today. Large lime green leaves with tiny pointed edges form a small spicy scented bush. A multitude of flower stems form in late spring and are smothered with hundreds of purple flowers with white throats. They bloom for at least 6 weeks and are alive with beneficial insects. Deer don’t touch it. Start indoors in early spring.
