Gardener's Notes: A cool season crop. Plant seeds in early spring as soon as soil can be worked. Sow seeds 1 in. apart in rows 1 ft. apart in well-drained soil. Thin seedlings to 2 in. apart when large enough to handle. Radishes grow quickly and do best in consistently moist but not soggy conditions while forming. Make small sowings every 2 weeks until early summer for a continuous supply. Sow again in late summer/fall for another crop.
