Carrot Little Finger - Cornucopia Seeds

Daucus carota

Deep orange Little Finger carrots develop sweet flavor early. Great to pull as ‘minis’. Harvest at 3 in. for crunchy baby carrots or grow to maturity at 6- 6 1/2 inches. Ready for harvest in 60 days.

Light Full sun
Row Spacing 6-8 inches
Plant Spacing 2 inches
Planting depth 1/4 inch
Days to germination 14-21
Plant height 12 inches

Gardener's Notes: Sow seeds directly into well-drained soil in spring when soil can be worked. Sprinkle seeds evenly, about 1/2 to 1 inch apart. Carrot seeds are slow to germinate - keep soil evenly moist. Thin 2 inch tall seedlings to stand about 2 inches apart so roots have room to grow. Sow every 3 weeks until early summer for continuous supply. For easier harvest, moisten soil. In mild climates, plant another crop in late summer.
