Gardener's Notes:

In early spring, plant in well-drained, rich fertile soil in full sun. Sow seeds 1" apart in rows 10" apart. Cover 1/2" deep and keep soil evenly moist. When the seedlings are 3" tall, thin to stand 4-6" apart, so these rapidly growing bulbs have enough room to size up. Fertilize monthly and water consistently for best mild sweet bulbs. Sow again in late summer for another crop.
