Valerianella locusta

A staple in German salads, these tender baby leaves are delicious and buttery. Can be cut to regrow throughout the winter for a continuous harvest. Seed it in the fall after a summer crop. Amazingly easy to grow, it will self-seed, and forms a pleasant ground cover for food and ornamental gardens.
