A cross between capitaine Thuilleaux and Blue Ravine. The vanilla fragrance is quite unique for a large Clematis. The clear white star shaped 6-8" (16-20cm) flowers with striking red tipped stamens bloom in late spring and again in early autumn. Mature height is 6-8' (2-2.5m). Pruning group B1. Suitable for containers and cut flowers!
