Monterosa is a gorgeous pink radicchio grown for late fall to early winter harvest from a summer solstice seeding. Plants develop their pink colour not long before harvest, so don’t be surprised by their green colour into the fall. Extremely cold hardy plants.
Approx. 50 seeds
Either direct seed or start indoors and transplant. Sow seeds 5mm (¼”) deep, and thin or transplant to allow 30-45cm (12-18″) between plants in rows 30-45cm (12-18″) apart.
