Carrot Tendersweet International - Aimers Seeds
Daucus carota subsp. sativus
Variety originated in Germany
Prepare to be amazed by the incredible flavour of Tendersweet Carrot seeds. This variety produces deep orange-red roots up to 25 cm long that are almost coreless, smooth-skinned, and simply the sweetest-tasting carrots you can grow. A culinary delight that promises to be a staple in your kitchen.
What you need to know to Plant & Grow:
Tendersweet carrots thrive in a sunny site with well-prepared, light soil.
Planting: Sow seeds 6 mm deep and 6 mm apart after the soil temperature rises above 7.5°C. Rows should be spaced 50 cm apart. Germination can take from 10-20 days, so be patient and keep the seedbeds evenly moist during this period. Avoid soil crusting, as this will greatly reduce the number of emerging seedlings.
Care: Thin the seedlings to a final spacing of 5 cm to give each plant room to grow. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers.
Approx. 900 seeds/pkt
