For best results, cultivate these beans in deep, well-drained organic soil.

Planting: Direct sow seeds every 10 days in a sunny location from late May to mid-July once the soil has warmed to at least 18°C. Sow seeds 2.5 cm deep and 7.5 cm apart in rows spaced 60 cm apart.

Care: Keep the soil evenly moist for optimal growth. Avoid disturbing the plants when the foliage is wet to reduce the risk of disease. Germination typically occurs in 5-12 days.
